One of the interesting aspects of the War on Terror is that the extremists are right-wing. They are "ultra-conservative" Muslims, more analogous to Teabaggers than to the Weather Underground Organization. There are significant numbers of Muslims in many countries that oppose terrorist tactics because of their education, but support the ideology, also because of their education.
